The archipelago of Les Embiez, Off the Six-Fours coast, consists of five islands: Le Grand Gaou, Le Grand Rouveau, Le Petit Rouveau, and the largest, the islands of Les Embiez…The island is 6.7 square miles in size and it is sunny 300 days per year. Its circumference is thereabouts 6 kilometers (3.75 miles).

In the north and west, you will appreciate some welcoming secrets coves between high and rocky coastlines. At south and east, the coastline becomes lower and sandy, with 7 wonderful beaches edged of turquoise waters.

Not to mention along the coastlines, towards Le Gaou, there are former salt works and the Brusc lagoon.

A short 12 minutes crossing is enough to reach Les Embiez from the tiny port of Le Brusc – Six Fours les Plages (15km from Toulon and 62km from Marseille). The island can be reached all year long and the ferry starts frequently during summer season from morning (6 AM) to night fall (1 AM), and once an hour during winter season.

Another link is scheduled on July and August from the harbour of Sanary towards Les Embiez.

Slightly set back from the lagoon and the Quai Saint-Pierre, they have the advantage of being completely free, without time limit:

• DCN car park, Chemin de la Guardiole (150 spaces)
• Parking places opposite the water sports base (7 spaces)
• Parking to the right side of the Maison du Patrimoine (4 spaces)
• Car park at Le Cros (76 spaces)
• Car park on Avenue des Charmettes (70 spaces)
• Car park on Terrasse des Embiez (15 spaces).
