Tribute to Paul Ricard by Nicolas Henry
In 1958, Paul Ricard, who was 50 years old, decided to purchase and unite the three small islands of Les Embiez. The creator became a man devoted to reflection, to sharing, and to protecting the natural heritage. Therefore, it is natural that a photographic exhibition of his whole life and his multi-faced personality is held around the harbour of the island. He was a nature lover, a social entrepreneur, a communication genius, a builder, a visionary and above all, a humanist.
Visitors will be able to see about sixty photographic panels and description of his life around the harbour.
This eco-designed exhibition will compensate its carbon footprint in accordance with its Embiez Island environmental commitment. It has been designed for tourists and art lovers by Nicolas Henry who is the Artistic Director also in charge of the “6 milliard d’autres” exhibition created by Yann Arthus-Bertrand to the Grand Palais in Paris.
More than a stroll through show, it is an authentic contemporary exhibition.
